ThirdLayer3D is a small 3D printing shop making useful, creative, and fully custom printed products — designed here, printed here, and checked by hand before they ship.
This shop started the way a lot of print shops probably do: one secondhand printer, a kitchen table, and far too many test cubes. The first useful thing we ever printed was a bracket for a drawer that had been broken for two years. It took four tries. It's still holding.
Fixing things around the house turned into printing things for friends, then for friends of friends, and at some point it stopped being a hobby with a waiting list and became a business with a name. Today we run a small rack of printers out of our workshop, tuned and babysat daily, printing in PLA+, PETG, and TPU depending on what the job actually needs.
Some of what we make is our own catalog — the organizers, stands, and planters you'll find on the Products page. The rest is custom work: you bring us a file or even just an idea, and we'll figure out how to make it real at a fair price. We're not a factory and we don't want to be one. Every order is printed to order, cleaned up, and packed by the same people who calibrated the machines that morning. If something arrives that isn't right, tell us — we'll reprint it. That's the whole policy.
Practical prints we use ourselves, refined over dozens of revisions — not thingiverse-roulette. If it's in the shop, it's earned its place.
